Thank you for taking the time to explore my heart's work as published through this website. Rite in the Wild is born from a vision to serve people and the planet by deepening our relationship to each other.
Rite in the Wild is starting small, offering simple programs to help people connect to their wild selves through nature and ceremony. I am a ceremonialist in the core of my being. Until recently, though, I couldn't see how to offer my services and meet the needs of our modern society. To help fuel my desire to action, I undertook four wilderness fasts in the course of four years and somewhere in there the idea for Rite in the Wild slowly emerged. Getting to the point of launch has been no small effort, especially from those closest to me. My heartfelt gratitude especially goes to my partner, Jared, for designing my logo, excusing my absence from "real" life, and encouraging me to cross the finish line. To my family and close friends who wonder where I've been, this is it. Enveloped in a cocoon of creativity and gestating the beginning of my heart's work. Thank you for your honest (and sometimes painful) feedback, and for pulling me out of the hobbit hole to dance, sing, and play at the beach.
