About
We live in a time where the power of human activity has reached into the furthest recesses of our only home, planet earth. Having forgotten our interrelatedness, we take for granted the basic elements of life and falsely believe we do not belong to our more-than-human community. Actions born from this assumption have led to humanity's own survival hanging precariously in the balance. To restore humanity's place within the web of relations we need to directly experience and compassionately respond to our heart's inner most longing, and our life's full expression.
Rite in the Wild was created as a response to this time, known as The Great Turning. We offer nature-based experiences aimed to cultivate inner resilience, enhance well-being, and empower relationships. By doing so, we intend to be a positive force for encouraging humanity to turn from an ego-centric to eco-centric society - a quality we feel is essential to the survival of our species and the earth. Like any living system, Rite in the Wild is designed to evolve and adapt to change. Yet, at the heart of this work will remain the intention to empower people by connecting to wild nature and communing through ceremony. |

" ...Where we have stopped dancing, singing, being enchanted by stories, or finding comfort in silence is where we have experienced the loss of soul. Dancing, singing, storytelling, and silence are the four universal healing salves."
